What is the most popular coffee shop in Nebraska?SCOOTERS COFFEE!
If you said Scooters Coffee, you would be right. If you’re reading this from a more eastern state, Scooters might not be familiar to you. It will be, it will be! (Channeling my best prophetic Yoda there.)
I’ve been a Scooters Coffee fan since they opened their first Atlanta area store on Highway 92 in Roswell just about a year ago. While I’m not a huge coffee drinker, I am a believer in spaces and places than help our human population with their daily lives while taking care of Mother Earth. And I love their organic Numi tea selection, vegetarian breakfast burritos, gazillions of iced drinks (no sodas, of course), ever-smiling baristas, ample comfy seating, and the wonderful free conference room. Love. It. All.
AMAZING FOOD, AMAZINGLY FAST
The Scooters franchise prides themselves on serving amazing products, amazingly fast by amazing people. I can vouch for all of these, but today, National Coffee Day in the US, I’ll stick to raving about their gluten-free goodies with a hot cup o’ Joe. Rave! Rave!
Pictures say more than words, so trust me that the owners made the right decisions on selecting their LOCAL GF products. Marilyn’s products are made in Atlanta in a dedicated GF facility. And they are yummy, moist chunks of goodness! I’ve tried and adore the Peanut Butter Chip cookies and the Brownie with Fudge. Excellent, whether you eat gluten-free or not. Vegetarian, not vegan.
SCOOTERS IS IN ROSWELL AND MARIETTA, GA
While you’re there at the Roswell store (550 Crossville Road, next to Johnny’s Pizza), check out the great selection of mugs, cups, insulated and otherwise. I’m trying to coax Deanna and John Erwin, the owners, to sell their fab t-shirts. My fave is the b/w which reads “Anything is Possible with Enough Coffee” – cute, huh?
The second Scooters Coffee is a drive-thru kiosk. John tells me most of their dozens of stores out west are this style. I toured the inside and found the same great attention to detail (and attention to hiring amazing people) at this new Marietta location (2943 Canton Road). Fab.
HAPPY NATIONAL COFFEE DAY!
Step away from the crowd at that other much-too-loud coffee shop and try a Scooters Coffee – coming to a kiosk near you throughout the Atlanta area – soon! Like them on Facebook, too!
Eat good stuff!
